Vermont “Spartan Experience” Leadership Academy and Team Building Expedition

At The Get Burly Leadership Academy located at Pittsfield Vermont and held at the world renowned “Spartan Race World Headquarters” we encourage teams, groups, and organizations to take advantage of this program as a method of forming stronger team bonds, increasing the ability to respond to and overcome adversity, meet and surpass new challenges, and to develop important leadership skills. This Leadership seminar is organized by Get Burly’s Founder and and involves a series of activities, exercise routines, Spartan Race Obstacles, and group team building experiences. The founders also work with coaches of teams and CEO’s of organizations on custom tailoring programs to meet the specific needs or goals of a team, company, or group. The program includes transportation to and from Pittsfield Vermont, a full of day of activities at Spartan Race World Headquarters, an overnight stay at the Trailside Inn, a hearty breakfast, and a short hike up Killington with a team group Photo before we head home!  Trips book up fast so sign up your team as soon as possible. We can take as many as 50 per group!

Killington Mountain “Ski and Snowboard” Retreat

This “Winter Retreat” is organized by Get Burly’s Founder and involves a series of activities, exercise routines, group team building experiences, and world class skiing and or snowboarding at Killington Mountain. The founder also works with coaches of teams and CEO’s of organizations on custom tailoring programs to meet the specific needs or goals of a team, company, or group. The program includes transportation to and from The Trailside Inn, a full of day of activities designed to enhance team chemistry, an overnight stay at the Trailside Inn, a hearty breakfast, and a full day of Skiing or snowboarding at Killington Mountain. Trips book up fast so sign up your team as soon. We can take as many as 50 per group!

Maine “White Water Rafting” Leadership Academy and Team Building Expedition

At the Get Burly Leadership Academy located along the Penobscot River in Millinocket Maine we have teamed with Maine Rafting Expeditions to bring you another one of a kind unique team building experience. This retreat is organized by Get Burly’s Founder and involves a series of activities, rafting, and group team building experiences designed to challenge participants in a safe, fun, and collaborative environment. Team building will occur on the river, at particular stops along the river where we have project adventure based activities planned, and in the evening during our fireside chat and and bonding experience.

 

Groups will be led by the Get Burly staff and additional professional staff provided by Maine Rafting Expeditions including their President and Founder Arthur Dickey and his team of professionally certified staff.

Certifications of Staff Include:

All MRE guides are licensed by the State of Maine IF&W 

Arthur Dickey: Advanced Wilderness First Aid

Cory Ladd: Wilderness EMT

Andy Massucco: Wilderness First Responder

Additionally: All MRE(Maine Rafting Expeditions) employees are swift water rescue technicians and train monthly with local rescue and emergency services.

Our Basic Retreat includes: ½ day of rafting, one night of camping, team building and leadership exercises throughout

 

Transportation Provided by Get Burly

Show up Mid day to a river lunch BBQ cooked and ready to eat.

Gear up and head to the river for our rafting experience with experienced and certified guides

After rafting you we will have full use of the campground which includes: volleyball court, horse shoes, pool, bean bag toss etc. and we will conduct a variety of team building exercises

A BBQ dinner dinner cooked by our staff

Evening Fireside Chat and group team building exercise

Tent's and Sleeping pads will be set up for the group in advance

Campers will have full access to shower and bath houses at the campground.

Return Home

**Additional options and packages can be set up upon request. Including HIKING MT KATAHDIN an or other local hikes! We can take a maximum of 100 people per group.
